”O-PROJECT”大高緑地芸術公園計画

「私の公園における写生をするというパフォーマンス」
リルケは手紙の中で、「芸術作品というものは、何かを変革したり改善したりする力はない。それはひとたび人間から生まれるやいなや、人間と向かえあって存在しはじめる。それは、自然が人間に対する在り方と変わるところがない。
（中略）芸術はやはり人間のなかから、つまり苦しみや喜びののなかから作られたものであるということは、だれもが承知している。」と語っている。
今の、SKETCHMANは全くこの通りの歩みで作品を創っている。
数年前迄、変革、改善をダイレクトに訴える社会派インスタレーション作品を発表した。その上、学芸員を装い作品解説までするパフォーマンスで、鑑賞者との溝を埋めようとする作品でもあった。
しかし、ここ２年あまりは、概念芸術から転じて写実的絵画の要素の一つを極めようと、近在の大高緑地公園での風景描写に専念している。単なる風景描写と異なる点は、２年間で２００点に及ぶ写生を大高緑地公園の琵琶ヶ池周辺だけで続けているということだ。日曜画家と何ら変わるところはないが、私の場合、ランブラス通りの「生きた銅像」のような「描く動像」を演じようと意識している。すでに、その姿は公園を構成する生きた備品となりつつある。
リルケは芸術は第二の自然だと言っている。私はストレートに公園の自然が美である瞬間を絵の具というメディアで絵という第二の自然を創ろうともしている。
２年間で１２００本松の木が枯れた公園を描くことは、公園の池で生計を立てる漁師みたいなもの。絶えずそこにいて、豊漁を願い、汚染されるのを恐れ、魚が絶えるのを心配しているのだ。自然と共に生きる姿勢そのものといえる。現に我が家の敷地からは弥生式土器も出土して、太古から生計の為のフィールドとは同じロケーションにある。
子供の頃に見た東山公園の似顔絵描きや水門を１００号で現場描きしていた画家は、私の記憶ファイルの中に絶えず存在して、開けばいつでも筆を運ばせその姿を再現してくれる。公園での見知らぬ大人や子供達の記憶ファイルに、第２の自然を創り出そうとする私の姿は保存されるのだろうか。

My performance in the park to sketch there.
Rilke said in a letter, "The art has no power to improve and reform
something. Once there were born (created) by human being , they came to exist face tofacewith us.
There is no difference between man and nature relationships , and man and art relationships. That is the same relationships with man and nature.(omission) You know , everybody knows that the art works come from human activities ,that is ,suffering and pleasure."
Now , I'm creating "SKETCHMAN" by the completely same steps that Rilke said in a letter. I used to present installation works that appealed reform and improvement for few years. Besides , it was the work which was going to bury a ditch between an appreciation person and I by a performance that I pretended a curator and explain the works.
However , I devote myself to scenery description in Odaka green park near my house , in order to reach the summit of the realism paintings far from conceptual art, More than 200 sketches I drew only around Biwagaike-pond in Odaka green park. This is remarkably different from the mere sketches.
I look like Sunday painter , but I always conscious of "painting statue"
like "alive statue" in ramblance street. My activity already become to be recognized by the park loiter as the equipment of the park.
Rilke says that art is second nature. I want to create second nature by the media of colors , when the nature of the park is beautiful.
Sketching the park where the pine trees are dying no less than 1200 for two
years, seems to be a fisherman who makes a living at fishing in the park pond.
He's always there , is in fear of the pond polluted , is anxious about all fishes are dead , wishes a big catch.
My sketching is equal to living with nature. In fact , an Yayoi-style earthen vessel was excavated at my lot. I'm living in same location from the ancient times to make me alive.
I'm still keep in memory of an old portrait painter in the Higashiyama park
and an artist who painted a watergate with ♯100(Oil on canvas162 ＋130��), who sew in my childhood.
Once I opened my files of memory , I can reappearance them on the drawing
paper.
I wonder , man and children who don't know me could remembered my figure
creating second nature ?
